A Message from Our Pastor
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the First Baptist Sparta website. First Baptist Sparta is a faithful group of believers united in a love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is at the center of everything we seek to do. We are a church in a rural setting, located eight miles east of Ozark on State Highway 14 in Sparta, MO.
Our mission statement is “To love as Christ loved.” To accomplish this mission, we want to be a church that is:
- Loving the Lord through Worship;
- Loving the lost through Evangelism;
- Loving the body of Christ through Discipleship;
- Loving one another through Fellowship.
We are a church with a heart for the people of Sparta, the surrounding communities, our state and around the world. We desire to be a ministering and changing force for Christ and His kingdom, through the spreading and living of the gospel.
